Position: Catering & Events Manager
Location: Primarily based at Blue Wind Gourmet (with responsibilities across Juice Buzz & Black Point Chocolates)About Us:

We’re seeking a Catering & Events Manager to oversee catering operations, curate unique events, and help grow our presence through active marketing and social media engagement.Why Join Us?
This cross-brand leadership role is perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of hospitality, creativity, and marketing. You’ll design and execute events that highlight the best of our sister companies — from educational health talks at Juice Buzz, to wine tastings at Blue Wind, community pop-ups featuring Black Point Chocolates or booking our event space at Bird Dog Bistro..We’re looking for a forward-thinking professional who anticipates needs before they arise — someone who keeps our fast-moving brands organized, connected, and one step ahead.
Key Responsibilities:
Catering Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute catering orders across our sister companies.
Event Curation:
Develop and host educational/health-focused events at Juice Buzz.
Collaborate with the Wine Manager at Blue Wind on wine tastings and pairing events.
Create seasonal and cross-brand experiences that engage the community.
Marketing & Social Media:
Manage event promotion and storytelling for all sister companies through Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms.
Create engaging content (photos, reels, stories, event highlights) that showcase our catering and events.
Track engagement and suggest creative campaigns to grow reach.
Client Relations: Serve as the point of contact for catering and event clients, ensuring seamless communication and high-level service.
Operations: Oversee event logistics, staffing schedules, and inventory needs.
Hands-On Support: Jump in with food prep, setup, or service when needed to ensure excellence from start to finish.
Proactive Leadership: Anticipate challenges, opportunities, and operational needs, staying one step ahead to support both leadership and the team.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in catering, hospitality, or event management (food service background required).
Strong knowledge of social media platforms with experience creating engaging content.
Proactive, intuitive, and able to anticipate needs before they arise — keeping the business and leadership one step ahead.
Proficient computer skills, including Excel for lists and invoices, and experience with Toast catering software (or willingness to learn quickly).
Creative thinker with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Strong interpersonal and client relations skills.
Comfortable working evenings and weekends as events require.
Passion for both wellness and gourmet food/wine culture.
